On Tuesday, 8 September in Cleveland, Ohio, I had the privilege of attending the world premiere of The Story of Content: Rise of New Marketing. It’s a documentary produced by the Content Marketing Institute to explain content marketing and why it’s become so important to business. It should be required viewing by everyone working in marketing.
The film is 45 minutes long and packed with insight from marketers, academics and entrepreneurs. It provides a balanced view of content marketing, giving an equal combination of inspirational and pragmatic information. The movie delivers a refreshingly global perspective so it’s relevant to companies outside the USA.
If you’re having trouble convincing your management about the benefits of content marketing or how it’s different from traditional advertising, you’ll want to watch. It doesn’t hurt to make sure your executive team watches, too. You can see the film here:
